Are-U-Prepared (AUP) Ltd, believe every care experienced young person deserves the opportunity to thrive—no matter their background, experiences, or abilities.
We understand that children enter the care system for many different reasons, and the support they receive—both while in care and as they prepare to leave—is crucial to their future success .
Statistics show that care-experienced young people often face significant challenges and are at a higher risk of poor outcomes in adulthood. Many struggle with the transition to independent living, making it difficult to build a stable and fulfilling future.
AUP is dedicated to changing this. We provide essential workshops that equip care-experienced young people with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully transition out of care and into independent living—improving their long-term prospects and helping them build resilient, meaningful lives.
We also recognise the unique challenges faced by separated children and young people as they enter the care system.
AUP offers tailored workshops to help them integrate and prepare for life in the UK, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to navigate their new environment. Helping each child or young person feel safe entering the care system.
Over the past few months, the supervision provided has been supportive, consistent and constructive. Regular check-ins and open lines of communication have allowed for clear expectations and timely feedback. My Supervisor has demonstrated a willingness to listen, offer guidance when needed and provide opportunities for growth and development if my business.
Thelma is warm, kind and caring. She has supported me through a difficult period in my life and I have found her to be a good listener and ono-judgemental.
